"Treelogy" Upload

Found the Treelogy DVD on a bookshelf, loose, mixed in with some LOTR discs and other such forgotten technology. Elijah Collard churned out videos through the first half of last decade, seemingly filming just about anything he and a select group of shredders did on board, by The Falls, or off in the woods. He put out seven videos in all.

The third video, its apt title seen above, is a rangy mixtape of the previous two flicks with new footage mixed in, a chronicle that takes a specific look at the scene around here spot by spot, zone by zone, with voice-overs from the maker, himself. Truth be told, I was a bit flummoxed by the sheer sprawl of the project when it first came out, but upon its rediscovery I've found myself basking in the potent nostalgia.

Treelogy features Elijah Collard, Little Dane (Dane Vaughn), Tony Lanners and just about everyone else who was around to film a clip. Key to much of this is Elijah's nollie boardslide and backlip at Ty Dickey Rail, the throwdown on grass at The Roofs, all of Dane's outfits, Tony's nose wheelies forever, that 12-15 trick line or whatever at S-Benches.

Pretty sure the next post'll be the Platty's.

So many lines in there that are four or more tricks-long!, as well as tricks that would seem very stylistic now but were just funky then, like Seth's ollie off-the-rock to fs-feeble.

The chill meter on the line Treez does at the U while rocking a sweatsuit is off the charts. That Tre flip is possibly one of the best ever.
