One of Those Weeks (x3)

Barr gets his minute. Good stuff!
Mike has been out of town, and I'm about 2/3 of the way through working a 20 day stint. (excuses, excuses)
Jackyl emailed me an update on the Plymouth Skate Park:
"Attached is the proposed Plymouth park/construction bid that was approved by City Council Tuesday. They are doing ground prep over the next week and construction is anticipated to start Sept. 6 with park completed mid-to-late October. To summarize the presentation, the budget was about $190,000, and you will see the park divided into sections by price. The bowl area doesn’t look like it’s going to happen.

There are a lot of details in what they are building that I am hoping to get tweaked to make it as versatile as possible, in other words use the budget to make every piece of cement skateable in as many ways as possible. I do see a lot of things that could be adjusted so we’ll see what happens. As always, a lot of room to screw things up if things are too steep or mellow, too tall or small, etc. The “P” should be a good time and pretty hard to screw up (but again, too steep/mellow ruins it)."
Link to plans (sorry it's a weird fileshare site, blogger doesn't have any option for PDF's)
I'm a little surprised Jackyl hasn't lobbied for a Lil' Caesars to be built on the site.
Personally I'm not counting on anything until it's done and I see it with my own eyes.
CRITICAL, man.
