"Ride Skate Drink Repeat" sounds like fun, sign me up. I know when, but where does it start. Oh, by the way, Why doesn't Glue Factory do a "Big Lebowski" board. That was a great movie moment? Or what about "Fargo"? Maybe save that for a Brian Heck pro board. But anyway like I said before those Wisconsin parks are fuckin great, Don't listen to Dan or Chad. They can ledge quack at any grom park they want. I thought true skaters liked a little change up? Why would you want to skate the same fucking thing everyday!

Hey, next time any of you pussies see dan or chad...

I dare you to talk so tough to their face.

There's nothing wrong with liking or disliking certain spots. EVERYBODY has their own preferences.

Dan and Chad are 2 of the coolest dudes you'll ever meet, and I guarantee that both of them can skate way better than any of the shit-talkers on this site.

(don't stop talking shit though, its fun to read!!!)

Ramp Jam Rulz!!!!! Haha, Skate Fast And Take Chances wooooo!!!
Those Wisconsin parks are Bad as hell lets go!
I dont session what Dan and Chad want to session! I skate what I want to skate!

What we do need is more people speaking up for what they do want in a skatepark. Like the 4ft ramp regulations in Minnesota, Everyone thinks it needs to change but nobody is doing anything about it.
All the local companies and shops need to step up especially and make a change.
Well known barneys like Chad and Dan should be pushing for improving Minnesota's skate scene, not talking shit on parks that are obviously way better than anything we've got. How much has skateboarding givin you, and what are you giving back????

First of all, this is Dan Jackson, so feel free to talk to me about any of this in person. Second, wow, an offhand comment between friends started this? The comment by "the mantis" is probably the most important in all of this: "don't listen to Dan or Chad." Go skate the park yourself and decide if you like it. Chad and I have been to the Lake Delton park (which is what our comments were about) a couple times already and will skate there in the future. My apologies if I don't think it is the greatest park in the world, and me sharing my thoughts with my friends wasn't intended to hurt anyone's feelings. I have skated a lot of different parks and in my opinion, the overall design could have been better. I don't consider that as "talking shit", it's just having an opinion, there's no right or wrongs, just like it's fine to think little True Ride parks suck, or certain bands suck, or certain foods suck. I'm just a dude skating for fun, and I'm happy to skate anything from an empty parking lot to the Combi Bowl (I will, however, pass on mega ramps cause I'm an old pussy). I might think something sucks but I'll still try to skate it and will have fun skating it, simply because I'm happy to be skating. As for what have Chad and I done for skateboarding to repay what skateboarding has given us? If the reference is to product over the years, I would like to think we earned anything we got (I know Chad has more than earned his stuff, and I have tried my best to do the same). We are just guys riding skateboards, but we both try to help out where we can between the other stuff going on in our lives. Since I started Glue Factory, I know I stuck out my neck a little and I'm trying to help out where I can. If you think I am missing some way to help out, let me know and I'll do what I can. I certainly appreciate being part of the scene, and I appreciate people caring enough about skateboarding to share their thoughts about what Chad and I thought of one skatepark (good thing Munzie hasn't published my thoughts on some of the Skate Wave parks I have skated). And yes, these comments do make for interesting reading. Again, feel free to talk to me about this, or send me an e-mail at gluefactory@q.com. Thanks for reading.

C'mon everybody, the purpose of these comments are not to flame or hate - save that for the SLAP forums. The midwest has spawned some great people and skateboarders (including Dan and Chad) and they're entitled to their opinions just like any other boarder/person. We need to get beyond the point of arguing over "who has better parks" and understand we all represent the Midwest and in the end, opinions don't really matter. I mean shit everybody, let's enjoy these parks for the 6 months of the year we can actually skate them because we all are going to dread the upcoming winter. Let's keep our shit positive because this scene has been built upon to much brotherhood thru skaterations to be destroyed by lurkers on the net.

all spots rip, some guys can skate certain spots better than others. you know when you you see someone shred a spot, and you get hyped, even if you can't skate those kinds of spots or skate like them, but you know that shit is fucking phenomenal, that's all that matters. my perspective is that all skateboarding is the shit. dan and chad know i can't skate like them, and they can't skate like me. we don't ride the same stuff, and that's not even the half of it. I've known those dudes for almost 20 years,. and I have a ton of respect for them. I hardly session with them anymore, but I know for a fact that we all get the same thing from skateboarding. Think about it. Now go shred a curb or pour some concrete or kill a rail. Just go get some...

you may think chad benson is great and cool and the shit but that guy is a dick.the only thing he has given the midwest skate scene is that fuck that does the trick you're trying or one-ups you and then beams you as he rides away. and that stupid fuck knows what he's doing.skateboarding should not give an asshole like that anything but a swift kick to his pussy.fuck that dipshit.

Dan I think your a great skater and are giving back for sure. My comment about giving back was for everyone that hates our 4ft skatepark design, everybody that cringes pulling up to a metal ramp or ankle high rail. If you dont like it build your own. Take it in your own hands, Advocate for skateparks and skateboarders.

Its not that our cities dont have the money, its that no skater has stepped up and told them what is right and wrong for skatepark constrution. Most of these parks are built by people that dont even skate. You can tell by the way they built them.
In the words of Mike V, haha "skateboarding helped me find me, and I want to share that with the world."
