Linked to it already but maybe a little description of shit is in order too? Yeah, well, ok. It was raining that day and I slept in hella late and then we made breakfast and we watched Ocean's 11, because, you know? We were late to the wave but why not? Shakas.
There was a bunch of the younger generation and some old dudes that showed up too; even some real young dudes jumped into the mix once shit had cooled off a little bit. Anyways, Jackal failed to qualify on the Red Wave due to a failure to Sal Flip off the damn thing, but he already did the real deal, so, he's off the hook for the most part. It was consistently entertaining, and one can't say that he didn't try, and he did get heckled by a possible comment lurker who at one point was ballsy/drunk enough to say, "I hate you," to Dan's face. Wow.
Struffert and Sherman (happy birthday Ian, you pile. I'll buy you some CLs soon) both made a bunch of tricks that were called for and both came up on cash. George Akande won the switch flip in to ride lottery; everyone and their damn brother was trying that one. Davis did a switch heel to ride way early on, and then mind-melted by hauling ass and ollieing off the second to last hump and gapping the rest of the wave. Chaboy Tom Rohrer managed the banger of the day by popping a bigspin flip way higher out of the wave than should be possible, and I owe him some more highfives.
Then at the shop today...I'll let them have the witty headline.

Oh, I was there. Best event ever, I don't know about that. I did some cheering, heckling, and possibly some shit talking. All in all, there was some ripping. Could have been better. Taking my morning shit was more fun, than watching this. Next they'll probably make a replica of the Pillsbury "P". And if they do now that I mentioned it, I want full fucking credit.
